Abstract
From March 24 to 26, 2026, the 18th China International Powder Metallurgy and Cemented Carbide Exhibition was successfully held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Asia New Materials (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Asia Materials”) showcased a range of high-performance copper and copper alloy powder products. Thanks to its precise product performance positioning, mature process adaptation solutions, and broad application prospects, our products quickly became the center of attention at the exhibition, earning praise and high recognition from industry peers and customers.

During the exhibition, the Asia Materials booth remained consistently bustling, with a steady stream of visitors seeking consultations and conducting business talks. From technical experts to end-users, from equipment manufacturers to research institutes, attendees stopped by the booth to gain an in-depth understanding of product performance specifications, application cases, and technological advantages, creating a lively yet highly efficient atmosphere. Our core product, Cu alloy, with its differentiated performance advantages, precisely meets the diverse real-world application requirements of additive manufacturing technologies, making it a standout highlight of this year’s event:

Pure Copper Powder Series: The Perfect Balance of Foundation and Excellence
As a foundational copper material in the additive manufacturing field, our range of pure copper powders encompasses multiple grades—general‑purpose, high‑conductivity, red‑light‑specific, oxide‑dispersion‑strengthened, and ultra‑high‑purity—catering to a wide array of application requirements.

CuCrZr copper alloy powder: the golden balance of strength and conductivity
CuCrZr is a high-performance heat-resistant copper alloy that, while maintaining excellent electrical conductivity, also exhibits outstanding hardness and resistance to softening. It is particularly well suited for applications in aerospace, the nuclear industry, and new‑energy vehicles—sectors that demand both superior strength and exceptional electrical and thermal conductivity. Following heat treatment, its electrical conductivity can be boosted to 89.5% IACS, while retaining excellent mechanical properties, making it an ideal choice for balancing structural integrity with functional performance. It is compatible with a variety of additive manufacturing processes, including BJ, SLM, EBM, and LC.

CuSn12Ni2 copper alloy powder: the ideal choice for precision manufacturing with excellent wear and corrosion resistance.
As a high-performance tin–nickel bronze alloy, CuSn12Ni2, with its excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and mechanical properties, is widely used in the shipbuilding, machinery manufacturing, and energy‑power industries. In SLM‑based high‑speed laser cladding and laser remelting processes, this powder enables the fabrication of precision components with low porosity and high strength, further expanding the application scope of tin bronze alloys in additive manufacturing and offering a novel solution for wear‑resistant parts operating under complex service conditions.

CuCrNb-42 Copper Alloy Powder: A High-Performance Choice for Extreme Operating Conditions
CuCrNb-42 is a high-strength, highly conductive, heat-resistant copper alloy specifically engineered for extreme operating conditions. It combines excellent high‑temperature strength, superior electrical and thermal conductivity, and outstanding resistance to thermal fatigue, making it suitable for critical components in advanced systems such as rocket engine combustion chamber liners. This material is compatible with cutting-edge manufacturing processes like SLM, HIP, and DED, demonstrating strong development potential in aerospace, defense, and other strategic sectors, thereby providing reliable support for material requirements in harsh environments.

The Asia Materials team, with a professional attitude and enthusiastic spirit, engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with visitors—covering everything from product demonstrations and technical Q&A to case studies and collaborative research projects. This exhibition was not only a grand showcase of products and technologies but also an excellent platform for Asia Materials to forge strong connections with industry peers and jointly explore avenues for development. We witnessed the vibrant vitality of the powder metallurgy and additive manufacturing sectors, further reinforcing our company’s commitment to long-term, dedicated efforts in high-performance copper-based powder materials, thereby contributing to the industry’s high-quality growth.

Though the grand event has come to a close, innovation never stops. We extend our heartfelt thanks to every friend who visited the Asia Materials booth, for your attention, trust, and support. Moving forward, we will remain market‑oriented, with technological innovation at our core, refining higher‑quality products, delivering more comprehensive services, and exploring a wider range of application‑specific solutions. Our goal is to become a leading provider of integrated solutions—covering powder formulation, process adaptation, and practical implementation—bringing fresh momentum and vitality to the powder metallurgy and additive manufacturing industries.
