CuZn40: This alloy features a balanced copper–zinc ratio, offering excellent hot forging and extrusion performance, superior machinability, and outstanding cost-effectiveness, making it one of the most widely used, classic high‑zinc brass materials in industry.
The material exhibits high room-temperature strength and excellent wear resistance, with outstanding hot‑working formability, enabling it to be rolled, extruded, forged, and stamped. It is suitable for custom production of a wide range of profiles, including bars, plates, strips, tubes, and wires, and is extensively used in industries such as hardware, plumbing, electromechanical systems, automotive, and construction.

CuSn10 alloy exhibits high strength and excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for manufacturing wear‑resistant components such as blades and gears. However, its electrical and thermal conductivity are relatively low; therefore, CuSn10 is generally not selected when electrical or thermal conductivity is required. Currently, CuSn10 is one of the most widely used copper alloys in additive manufacturing.
